Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service ("CDARS")

Not only does putting money into CDs make sound financial sense, investing in CDs through Ohio State Bank makes saving simpler.

Most banks can only insure deposits up to $250,000—meaning if you want to deposit more than that, you have to go to multiple banks and manage multiple accounts.  At Ohio State Bank, we are a member of a network of banks, the CDARS Network, you can deposit as much as you like with us. Your money is divided into amounts under $250,000 and distributed to other FDIC-insured institutions in the network. These funds are then put into CDs and fully insured by our partners, while still managed through Ohio State Bank.

Get peace of mind for large cash balances with CDARS.  Contact us to learn more.
